Becoming a Consultus Live-in Carer - Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Consultus carer. By now you have probably read ‘Becoming a Consultus Carer’ and ‘Working in the UK’ and you are keen to make an application.

However, we take our responsibilities under the UK legislation very seriously and as such we have strict criteria to follow. Therefore we do not offer anyone an interview without finding out more about him or her.

It is Consultus' policy to first speak with each applicant by phone. If you can answer Yes to ALL the following questions you should ring us to discuss your application.

1 Are you a British or EU citizen, or have you already secured the right to accept self-employed temporary work in the UK?

3 Many of our clients are hard of hearing, and have difficulty with strong accents.

5 A carer will also be expected to help clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, washing, toileting and weight transference.
